Hi, I'm Susan, Chief Bear Maker at Bears by Treasured Something.

I've always loved bears, right back to when I was a toddler, I would carry my teddy everywhere with me. I also have suffered with anxiety since the age of 4 years, so to help me cope I would chat to my bear and ask advise and help. My bear called "Ted" gave me the strength to cope each day.

About 20 years ago inwent on various bear making courses and I was addicted then.

I love creating and seeing something so special come alive from a piece of material and become a keepsake for a Bear Collector.

I also create pebble art, multimedia paintings, keepsake bottles styled in a vintage way using various mediums and keepsake boxes decorated with various pieces of jewellery and pebbles.
