About me
Lynne Davies
Artist
I am a self taught artist, born in Jarrow. After winning a packet of felt tip pens in an art competition at the age of five and completing my first commissioned portrait at twelve years old, I knew I was put on the world to paint and have never looked back. I managed to achieve my dream of becoming a professional artist in 2009.
Over the years my style has developed and improved. Inspired by nature, travel, wildlife and emotion, I am a passionate painter of beautiful, expressive and sometimes quite large images. My favourite medium is Oil on canvas.
I exhibit regularly (when not in lockdown) I also run adult workshops and lessons for children.
