I live in the UK with my artist husband who has been inspirational in helping me develop as an artist. Together we share a wonderful journey of discovery in art. We show at local Art Exhibitons and while he teaches at art clubs locally I am a member and help run two art clubs.
I have always loved flowers and birds. As a child I used to explore the hedgerows looking for birds' eggs in their nests. Remembering never to touch them! I started out inspired to paint single flowers in watercolour and my interest has grown to include landscape, seascapes, still life, children, portraits, birds, the list goes on.
Our daughters have given us six grandsons and one beautiful new granddaughter between them and they all call me Mormor. This is because three of them are half Finnish and that is what Scandinavian children call their maternal grandmothers. The name stuck and I love it! Hence my shop name!
