Important information regarding the live Instagram feed.
Due to circumstances beyond our control the Instagram live feed function is no longer working. This is due to a change in the way Instagram allows access to its API by third party apps.Third-party apps rely on being able to access data from Instagram’s API (application programming interface).
Instagram has refused to comment on these reports, other than to confirm it has stopped accepting submissions of new apps. Developers were given no notice of these changes.
This change may have been made as a privacy measure, given the trouble parent company Facebook has found itself in recently with the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
Instagram previously gave notice that it was planning to scale back access to its API within the next 2 years. No one expected it to happen so soon.
Our app developer had no warning of this so has not yet been able to implement a fix, if a fix can be made at all.
This is unfortunate as we know a lot of people liked the live Instagram feature. Hopefully it may return in the future but at this moment in time we can’t guarantee it’s return.
This does not affect the instagram links on your listing, this will continue to work as normal. This only affects the live feed.
In the meantime we will need to slightly reformat the listing layout. We have moved the ‘about me’ section from the sidebar to the main body of the listing. We have also increased the amount of images on the portfolio to 9. These images can be changed at any time by you, once your listing is live.

This is an unfortunate devolopment and we fully understand if this was a key feature for you that you may no longer wish to proceed with your application to be listed on the directory. If you could please let us know either way using the form below, that would be really appreciated.
We are still going ahead with the launch as planned on Sunday so if you could let us know as soon as possible that would be fantastic.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
An example of how the new format will look can be found HERE
