Basic Jewellery Making
Learn how to make beaded earrings, bracelets and necklaces choosing beads from the large selection I have amassed over the last twenty five years or so.
I will introduce you to simple bead jewellery design principles and teach you some basic techniques used in bead jewellery making, including crimping beads onto wire, attaching headpins to ear hooks and clasps to necklaces and bracelets.
These workshops run regularly in a hall local to me in Gnosall. approx 2.5 hours @ £35 per person –

All materials and equipment will be provided
to make a Teddy Bear, Rabbit key fob / bag charm or a dog sculpture.
Learn how to make an armature and apply long wool/fur.
Workshops take place in Easingwold, North Yorkshire.
Mosaic Workshops
Ever wanted to have a go at creating your own mosaic but didn’t know where to start?
At a China Petals mosaic workshop I can show you how to nip and shape old china plates and tiles to create a lovely mosaic. All materials are provided including the use of my China Petals tools, templates, china plates, mosaic tiles and embellishments. You are very welcome to bring your own china and embellishments to make your creation more personal to you

Craft Courses
The workshops have one Tutor and a maximum number of six students. We guarantee to hold each workshop irrespective of the number of students unless there is some unavoidable reason to cancel.
All equipment and materials you need are provided. This includes all the yarn or cellulose fibres you need to learn natural dyeing, gloves and an apron and, of course, the professional natural dye extracts.

Lynne has a teaching qualification and has built up plenty of experience in front of a crowd. She enjoys a good rapport with her audience.
Lynne can be booked for demonstrations and workshops, (with plenty of notice) She is also able to offer small private workshops, private tuition and children’s art lessons in her own Hampshire studio.

I am Elaine, the nutty knitter, and I am Grans knits n bits. Knitting and sewing have been part of my life since I can remember, being taught by my Nan and Mum when I was little. Grans was born when I was asked if I could create a throw incorporating a pattern they had seen on a cardigan. Deciding to accept the challenge I haven’t looked back, saying yes to pushing myself to attempt creations I never would have considered before. This has meant that I have been lucky enough to have knitted for TV on more that one occasion.
I am passionate about creating unique, wearable metaphysical pieces of art jewellery. I love researching, sourcing and working with the healing energies and spiritual properties of crystals. My pieces are designed to be worn anywhere, at home, at work or at play, whether you are power dressing, dressing to impress, smart casual or dressing down. The result is one of a kind beautiful spiritual healing crystal jewellery that feels amazing to wear on every level.
I have been knitting for over forty years since my mum taught me at the age of four. I get great pleasure in knitting items and seeing other people get enjoyment out of what I knit. Everything is knitted by myself with love and care.

A glass artist forever learning and experimenting. I love making pendants, earrings, bowls and other items using fused glass. I love the vast array of colour’s, effects and depth that glass can produce. Jewellery is such a personal item and no piece that I produce will ever be the same. I also make small decorative home décor pieces and bowls; fusing glass and images into the glass using high temperature decals. they can used to make coasters, hanging glass images and pictures fused and mounted in frames.

I enjoy several crafts such as cross stitch and tie-dye but my passion is crochet. Crochet is a process in which a yarn and hook are used to create anything from snuggly winter blankets, hats, scarves, slippers the sky is the limit really. I particularly like bright rainbow yarn but I enjoy working with many types and colours of yarn. I enjoy experimenting with traditional designs such as granny squares but I enjoy creating more modern designs too.

I started needle felting in December 2017 as a retirement project,my wife had just started making artist teddy bears,and I had been all over the UK to various craft and teddy bear fairs ,and I thought it would be great to be more involved. I am now addicted to this wonderful pastime, I have been a professional artist to many years , painting in acrylics,and specialising in seascapes.
All my teddy bears and furry animals do contain metal cotter pins, hardboard joints and glass eyes, some also have paint or pastel added so unfortunately THESE ARE NOT for Children as a Toy.

Fire and Fairylights was developed from my sons love of all things running related and my love of Pyrography (which I wish I’d discovered years ago). And fairylights just make everything better. The original plan was to make medal hangers for runners, and things just expanded from there. There are a lot more things to come, and a lot more personalised items to be designed and created.
I create work across two different mediums; painting and lino print with animals, folk tales and nature as sources of inspiration in the main. I have two distinct areas of work within painting, one being abstract and experimentation and the other whimsical. My lino work follows a similar ethos using animals and folklore, but the work tends to be more peaceful and relaxing, welcoming the viewer in, just to take a moment out from their everyday lives – I certainly find it very therapeutic when I’m creating them.

I have a history in art and design and upholstery but lately I have been drawn to making bags of all descriptions and free motion embroidery, sometimes combining them together! I love all kinds of fabrics and textures – usually quite colourful, vintage or patterns with a vintage feel.

Hi my name is Fiona and I was born and live in Scotland. I gained a BA hons degree from Edinburgh College of Art. I am an avid needle felter and enjoy creating my McFelted friends and in particular working with clients to produce bespoke pet portraits. I hope my passion for these comes through in my work.
