Our aim is to make and sell long lasting and aesthetically pleasing woodcraft products sustainably using hand and pedal powered tools and techniques. And to manage Golden Hill Wood as responsibly as possible, to create a space for people to share and learn.
Hawthorn Handmade Wooden Rattle
This hand crafted rattle is turned from one piece of Hawthorn, babies love the movement and woody noise stimulation.
Due to being made with hand tools and pedal power only, this rattle is left with a crisp edge, beautiful grain, and helps to keep a traditional craft alive.
The wood is sourced as a by product from local woodlands managed for wildlife and conservation by the maker.
Approx size: 15-18cm X 2.5-3cm. Delivered in recycled tissue paper and plastic free packaging.
Cherrywood Lemon Squeezer
Hand crafted traditional wooden lemon squeezer, for juicing, baking, cocktails, pancakes, cooking and more!
This juicer is made with hand tools and pedal power only, it is left with a crisp tool edge, which helps get a great ‘squeeze’ and helps to keep the traditional craft of ‘pole lathe turning’ alive.
The wood used is sourced as a by product from local woodlands managed for wildlife and conservation by the maker.
Approx size: 11-14cm X 4-5cm. Delivered in recycled tissue paper and plastic free packaging.
Each squeezer has been polished with a food grade grapeseed oil and beeswax finish.
Wooden Porridge Spurtle
Cherrywood porridge spurtle, stops lumps forming in your porridge when stirring, creating a smoother creamier porridge!
Due to the cylindrical shape, the spurtle allows the oats to be stirred around without the dragging effect of the head of a wooden spoon.
Made with hand tools and pedal power only, this spurtle is left with a crisp tool edge.

FelinFach is based in a 200 year old former flour mill in Preseli, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. Our products and processes are guided by our Mission, Natural – Traditional – Handmade. Designing and making wool products including Welsh tapestry blankets, Welsh blankets, Welsh rugs, sheepskin rugs, scarves and throws. Hand dyed yarn, cotton, silk and wool scarves all with natural dye colours.
Wool scarves
Lambswool and wool and silk scarves, traditionally woven in Wales. They are available in a number of different colours. Traditionally woven to a good length, approx 190cms or 6′ 3″ and they are approximately 23cms wide or 9″. Large versions are 190cms x 32cms.

Welsh Blankets
Our Welsh blankets and throws are made from 100% pure NEW wool and are a fantastic source of warmth and comfort. These traditional wool blankets vary in design, size and weight from heavyweight double weave reversible blankets to lightweight lambswool throws and also the traditional honeycomb (or waffle) weave blankets. All our blankets and throws for sale are made from new wool and are not vintage or used or second hand blankets.
Wool Throws
Our wool throws are hand woven in limited numbers on traditional looms in Wales and are made from 100% new wool. They are ‘soft to touch’ wool throws made from a blend of Welsh wool and British lambswool. Available in a variety of check or window pane patterns. None of our Welsh wool throws and blankets are massed produced.

Hand Dyed Yarn
Our hand dyed yarn is produced from the finest UK yarns with natural dyes in our FelinFach Dye Studio. By using excellent quality natural fibre, including locally sourced Welsh yarn as well as British yarn, and by sourcing botanical natural plant dye extracts, we are able to produce beautiful naturally dyed yarn, cotton and other fabrics. The colours from natural dyes in general and also from natural plant dyes are enthralling.
A glass artist forever learning and experimenting. I love making pendants, earrings, bowls and other items using fused glass. I love the vast array of colour’s, effects and depth that glass can produce. Jewellery is such a personal item and no piece that I produce will ever be the same. I also make small decorative home décor pieces and bowls; fusing glass and images into the glass using high temperature decals. they can used to make coasters, hanging glass images and pictures fused and mounted in frames.

I enjoy several crafts such as cross stitch and tie-dye but my passion is crochet. Crochet is a process in which a yarn and hook are used to create anything from snuggly winter blankets, hats, scarves, slippers the sky is the limit really. I particularly like bright rainbow yarn but I enjoy working with many types and colours of yarn. I enjoy experimenting with traditional designs such as granny squares but I enjoy creating more modern designs too.

I started needle felting in December 2017 as a retirement project,my wife had just started making artist teddy bears,and I had been all over the UK to various craft and teddy bear fairs ,and I thought it would be great to be more involved. I am now addicted to this wonderful pastime, I have been a professional artist to many years , painting in acrylics,and specialising in seascapes.
My passion is painting. For as long as I can remember I’ve used art to express my ideas, inspired by the world around me. I sketch my ideas onto quality watercolour paper, using my favourite fine liner to outline my design once I’m happy with it. I then use the best quality watercolour paints, adding last minute details, such as grass, flowers and shrubary to bring my little scenes to life.

I am Elaine, the nutty knitter, and I am Grans knits n bits. Knitting and sewing have been part of my life since I can remember, being taught by my Nan and Mum when I was little. Grans was born when I was asked if I could create a throw incorporating a pattern they had seen on a cardigan. Deciding to accept the challenge I haven’t looked back, saying yes to pushing myself to attempt creations I never would have considered before. This has meant that I have been lucky enough to have knitted for TV on more that one occasion.

I started knitting from about the age of 5 years. Taught the basics by my mother – a lady who needed a great deal of patience to teach me this skill, I gradually went from knitting plain scarves to knitting beanie hats in ribbing to teaching myself cable knitting which I love. I began by knitting for family and then decided in 2014 to take the plunge and start my website on Etsy – I hope you like what you see there.

I’m Nicki and I’m a self-taught jeweller specialising in sterling silver and seaglass. Every item is handcrafted by me using natural materials collected on beaches in Scotland. Most come from the west coast, on the beautiful peninsula of Kintyre, where my family fished the seas for generations. The sea glass, beach pottery and pebbles are smoothed and shaped by decades of tumbling in the often stormy Scottish tides and waves, creating unusual and individual pieces. I collect all the materials by hand myself while walking along the sandy beaches with my wee pup in tow!

I have always loved making things and I will turn my hand to anything crafty! You will find products ranging from wallets, purses, bags , to larger pieces such as lampshades, cushions and textile art. I have a history in art and design and upholstery but lately I have been drawn to making bags of all descriptions and free motion embroidery, sometimes combining them together! I love all kinds of fabrics and textures – usually quite colourful, vintage or patterns with a vintage feel.
I love knitting baby/toddler knits and mainly knit in self patterning yarn because I love to see little ones in bright knits, but you will also find traditional pastel colours available too. All items are knitted by myself with the same love,care & attention I put into knitting for my grandchildren. Fire and Fairylights was developed from my sons love of all things running related and my love of Pyrography (which I wish I’d discovered years ago). And fairylights just make everything better. The original plan was to make medal hangers for runners, and things just expanded from there. There are a lot more things to come, and a lot more personalised items to be designed and created.
I create work across two different mediums; painting and lino print with animals, folk tales and nature as sources of inspiration in the main. I have two distinct areas of work within painting, one being abstract and experimentation and the other whimsical. My lino work follows a similar ethos using animals and folklore, but the work tends to be more peaceful and relaxing, welcoming the viewer in, just to take a moment out from their everyday lives – I certainly find it very therapeutic when I’m creating them.
I am truly passionate about fabric and the excitement of reworking upcycled and recycled materials into things of beauty. My ethos is to repurpose, recycle, save on waste and keep down the carbon footprint. My belief is that there is no reason why things of beauty cannot also be environmentally friendly.

Hello! I’m Jessica, an American living in a beautiful village in the English countryside with my British husband. I’m a “former” needle felt artist, though I sometimes like to incorporate it in my current work (like my fluffy sheep!). During my itch to grow as an artist, I experimented with spun cotton (in late 2018) after doing lots of research on antique and vintage spun cotton ornaments.
