Welcome to grown and made woodcraft, we have a love for all things wood, trees and traditional skills and Green woodwork.
Our aim is to make and sell long lasting and aesthetically pleasing woodcraft products sustainably using hand and pedal powered tools and techniques. And to manage Golden Hill Wood as responsibly as possible, to create a space for people to share and learn.
Hawthorn Handmade Wooden Rattle
This hand crafted rattle is turned from one piece of Hawthorn, babies love the movement and woody noise stimulation.
Due to being made with hand tools and pedal power only, this rattle is left with a crisp edge, beautiful grain, and helps to keep a traditional craft alive.
The wood is sourced as a by product from local woodlands managed for wildlife and conservation by the maker.
Approx size: 15-18cm X 2.5-3cm. Delivered in recycled tissue paper and plastic free packaging.
Cherrywood Lemon Squeezer
Hand crafted traditional wooden lemon squeezer, for juicing, baking, cocktails, pancakes, cooking and more!
This juicer is made with hand tools and pedal power only, it is left with a crisp tool edge, which helps get a great ‘squeeze’ and helps to keep the traditional craft of ‘pole lathe turning’ alive.
The wood used is sourced as a by product from local woodlands managed for wildlife and conservation by the maker.
Approx size: 11-14cm X 4-5cm. Delivered in recycled tissue paper and plastic free packaging.
Each squeezer has been polished with a food grade grapeseed oil and beeswax finish.
Wooden Porridge Spurtle
Cherrywood porridge spurtle, stops lumps forming in your porridge when stirring, creating a smoother creamier porridge!
Due to the cylindrical shape, the spurtle allows the oats to be stirred around without the dragging effect of the head of a wooden spoon.
Made with hand tools and pedal power only, this spurtle is left with a crisp tool edge.

FelinFach is based in a 200 year old former flour mill in Preseli, Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. Our products and processes are guided by our Mission, Natural – Traditional – Handmade. Designing and making wool products including Welsh tapestry blankets, Welsh blankets, Welsh rugs, sheepskin rugs, scarves and throws. Hand dyed yarn, cotton, silk and wool scarves all with natural dye colours.
Wool scarves
Lambswool and wool and silk scarves, traditionally woven in Wales. They are available in a number of different colours. Traditionally woven to a good length, approx 190cms or 6′ 3″ and they are approximately 23cms wide or 9″. Large versions are 190cms x 32cms.

Welsh Blankets
Our Welsh blankets and throws are made from 100% pure NEW wool and are a fantastic source of warmth and comfort. These traditional wool blankets vary in design, size and weight from heavyweight double weave reversible blankets to lightweight lambswool throws and also the traditional honeycomb (or waffle) weave blankets. All our blankets and throws for sale are made from new wool and are not vintage or used or second hand blankets.
Wool Throws
Our wool throws are hand woven in limited numbers on traditional looms in Wales and are made from 100% new wool. They are ‘soft to touch’ wool throws made from a blend of Welsh wool and British lambswool. Available in a variety of check or window pane patterns. None of our Welsh wool throws and blankets are massed produced.
Our wool throws for sale are available in a variety of colours and sizes.
Hand Dyed Yarn
Our hand dyed yarn is produced from the finest UK yarns with natural dyes in our FelinFach Dye Studio. By using excellent quality natural fibre, including locally sourced Welsh yarn as well as British yarn, and by sourcing botanical natural plant dye extracts, we are able to produce beautiful naturally dyed yarn, cotton and other fabrics. The colours from natural dyes in general and also from natural plant dyes are enthralling.
